DevOmniPrivacy Policy

In short: DevOmni contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers. We store your email address so you can sign in, a device token so we can deliver push notifications, and the monitoring configuration and messages you create. We do not sell or share your data.
1. Who we are
DevOmni is developed and operated by iCloser Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the DevOmni iOS app and its backend service collect, why, and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect

What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA), no ad networks.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No location data, contacts, photos, microphone or health data.
- No browsing history or behavioural profiling.
3. Camera access
DevOmni asks for camera permission only when you tap to scan a project QR code. Frames are processed on your device to read the code and are never uploaded or stored. If you decline, every other feature keeps working.
4. Notifications
Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. Apple receives the device token and the notification payload in order to deliver it. Their handling of that data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
5. The endpoints you monitor
When you add an endpoint, our servers make scheduled HTTP requests to the URL you configured, from our infrastructure. We record the response status code, the latency and, when a check fails, the error type. We do not store response bodies. Only add endpoints you are authorised to monitor.
6. Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is processed by a small number of infrastructure providers strictly to run the service:
- Alibaba Cloud — servers, database and cache hosting.
- Alibaba Cloud DirectMail — delivers sign-in verification codes to your email address.
- Apple Push Notification service — delivers notifications to your device.
We may disclose data if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
7. Security
- All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS.
- Project push keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
- Passwords, if set, are stored as bcrypt hashes.
- Verification codes are single-use and expire after a short window.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please write to jimlai@xin.xyz.
8. Your rights
- Access and correction — your account data is visible in the app and your nickname can be changed there.
- Deletion — Me → Delete Account removes your account, the projects you own and their messages. This cannot be undone.
- Withdraw consent — sign out to stop push notifications, or revoke camera permission in iOS Settings.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Write to jimlai@xin.xyz and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
DevOmni is a tool for software developers and operations teams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
